Welcome To Street Soccer Austin! |
|
Street Soccer Austin (SSA) is a venue for team motivation and support. We promote self-worth and healthy choices, and teach life skills to foster positive self development. SSA is proud to be a participant in a worldwide movement that’s changing lives.
The goals of the program are to: • Generate excitement in the spirit of the world’s greatest game • Encourage routine, purpose, and self-esteem • Sustain genuine camaraderie • Promote physical fitness
Street Soccer Austin is part of Street Soccer USA, a growing network of Street Soccer teams across America and around the world promoting the annual Homeless World Cup (HWC). Since 2003 the HWC has funded teams from many nations, uniting the homeless as ambassadors, not only of their country, but also of peace and hope.
